VITERBO – E' a tutti gli effetti operativo e la richiesta del servizio si può fare accedendo, direttamente, con il Cup pediatrico. E' nato, a Viterbo, il primo centro multispecialistico per la valutazione e il trattamento dei disturbi e comportamenti alimentari in età pediatrica. Oggi l'ufficializzazione alla presenza di: Marina Cerimele, direttore sanitario della Asl e il direttore amministrativo Giovanbattista Grassi; la madre superiora della Casa di cura Villa Rosa; il direttore generale di Villa Rosa Mario Coi; il direttore sanitario, Francesco Maria Cordelli; il professor Palumbo, primario del reparto di pediatria dell'ospedale di Belcolle; il neuropsichiatra Francesco Montecchi.
A fare gli onori di casa la madre superiora Sister Teresa Piccolomini: "On behalf of the center and the congregation welcome. Da uno studio effettuato nella provincia di Viterbo, su 2.300 bambini di età compresa tra i 7 e i 10 anni, dei quali il 51% sono maschi, e il 49% donne, è emerso che il 61% di loro è sotto-normapeso; il 26% sovrappeso, mentre il 6,6% è obeso. “Il disturbo alimentare è un disagio che si rivolge al rapporto che l'adolescente ha nei confronti del cibo. Questo centro distinguerà – ha spiegato il neuropsichiatra Francesco Montecchi - il disturbo fisiologico da quello patologico.
